The Luštica Peninsula hides some of Europe's most lovely secrets - fascinating beaches
Discover the most romantic one! Luštica, a peninsula rich in olive groves and pomegranates, is located at the very entrance to the Bay of Kotor. This is a romantic place, so grab your partner by the hand and go to the lovely beach Žanjice.
How do you get there? You can arrive by sea or by land. If you are departing from Herceg Novi, it is best to take one of the excursion boats that transport tourists to this location on a regular basis. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., they usually leave every 10 minutes. From 5.00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., you can return from the beach.
The beach is pebbly, and you can rent a set of sunbeds for a pleasant stay. A visit to the nearby Blue Cave or the tucked-away Rose Village will round out your romantic getaway. Details about boat trips and contact information for the transportation can be found on the website of the Tourist Organization of Herceg Novi.
Kotor's romantic beach Bajova kula
The beach Bajova kula can be found if you travel from Kotor to Perast. Your vacation will be perfect because of the pebble coast, clear and transparent sea, and the scent of laurel that comes from the hinterland. There is a pier here, but there is also a beach bar right by the sea, where you can rent sunbeds! We recommend that you reserve your spot in advance because the beach is very popular. Of course, there is a small section of the beach where you can place your towel.
Have you ever fantasized about getting lost with a loved one on a perfect island? Look for Budva's Hawaii!
Several beaches await you in the wild beauty of the island of Sveti Nikola, or Školj, as it is also known, which is over 2 kilometers long. The wild beach's peace, beauty, and privacy are especially appealing.
You won't even notice the occasional boat anchored nearby if you bring your favorite drink and snuggle in the shade of high rocks. The smell of salt, high cliffs adorned with lush vegetation, and birds chirping... Is there a better option? We all agree that there isn't!
How do you get there? During the tourist season, you can arrive by boat from Slovenska beach (Slovenian beach) or the Old Town at a reasonable price.
Romantic getaway on Jaz
Lonely Planet, the world's leading tourist guide, once ranked Jaz Beach at the top of its list of the ten best European beaches to visit. Is that enough of a reason to visit this beach?
Where is it located? Jaz Beach is about 2.5 kilometers from Budva, heading towards Kotor and Tivat. It is divided into two sections, one 800 meters long and the other 400 meters long. Many tourists departing from Budva, but also from the Bay of Kotor, visit this beach which is pebble on the coast and sandy in the water.
There is a car camp and parking, as well as several restaurants and cafes, in the shade of its hinterland. You can rent a pedal boat, a jet ski, go down the slide, fish, and much more.
Reževići and Bršalj Romantic Beaches in Petrovac
There is a romantic beach called Reževići, which is 60 meters long, about 6 kilometers from Petrovac in the direction of Sveti Stefan. It is surrounded by olive trees and stone. There is also a restaurant on the beach. A variety of music complements the summer atmosphere here (ethno, Latin, house, jazz, reggae).
Bršalj, a 35-meter-long partially concrete and partially sandy beach, can be found in Petrovac. It offers interesting entertainment and recreational content.
Your corner in the shade of a fragrant pine forest at the Žukotrlica beach
The beach is on the shores of the Bar settlement Šušanj. It is most convenient to arrive by car or one of the regular bus lines. On this pebble beach, surrounded by pine forest, you will find sunbeds and umbrellas, changing rooms, showers, a large number of cafes and restaurants behind the beach, as well as parking for cars. Enjoy the romantic Mediterranean atmosphere!
Romantic beaches in Ulcinj
During the day, you can cool off in the crystal clear sea, sunbathe on the fine sand, and dine on seafood, Mediterranean, or local specialties at restaurants along the coast. Later, you can stay in a well-kept camp on the Safari beach, which has been declared Ulcinj's most beautiful.
This romantic beach provides you with the most exclusive props (umbrellas, sunbeds, deck chairs). There is also an exclusive restaurant on the beach. There is a volleyball court available, as well as the option to rent a jet ski.
Another romantic beach can be found beneath Ulcinj's Old Town. It remains to be seen whether the pebble beach or the spectacular view from the fortress will enchant you more!
