When will you come?

The ideal period to come to Montenegro is from May to October. Pleasant weather, with many sunny days and an average maximum temperature of 19 ̊ Celsius in May and 29 ̊ Celsius in August, makes this the perfect time to come. Keep in mind that the coastal region is mostly visited from July to August, so at that time, we recommend a relaxing vacation in the mountains of Montenegro. If you are looking for an adventure in the snow, then come from January to March.

Spring and summer in Montenegro

The best times to arrive are either late spring or early fall. During these seasons, the air temperature is pleasant and not too hot. You can definitely visit the beaches in this timeframe, and you will most likely escape the big crowds. The weather is perfect for virtually all outdoor activities, from kayaking to swimming to kitesurfing to touring the katuns and national parks.

Summer in Montenegro – sea or mountains?

Montenegro is a popular summer destination, so you might conclude that summers here are perfect. However, keep in mind that temperatures at lower altitudes can soar (up to 40 ̊ Celsius,) so consider taking a break from the beach and instead embark on an adventure to the mountains.
