In addition to luxury hotels with great accommodation capacities and venues equipped with the latest technology, Montenegro offers the Mediterranean climate, outstanding natural, cultural, and historical attractions, unforgettable excursions, excellent relaxation and leisure activities, as well as a rich and authentic cuisine, said the director of the Montenegrin Convention Bureau, Aleksandra Maksimović.
According to her, the Montenegrin Convention Bureau actively promotes the MICE offer of the destination at the most relevant specialized trade shows and events within this field, which represents an opportunity to meet business travel professionals worldwide, and further position the destination on the business tourism map.
"I strongly believe that our improved hotel offers, rich cultural heritage, and untouched nature provide an ideal platform for the organization of successful business events of various kinds, especially incentives. In this respect, we will continue with our strategic approach in the promotion of business events tourism, following trends and innovations in the industry, to ensure that Montenegro is among the first destinations on the list of choices of events organizers," Maksimović emphasized.
Conventa 2024 was an excellent opportunity for the representatives of NTO Montenegro and numerous tourism industries from Montenegro to introduce the offer and advantages of the destination to interested hosted buyers, not only from Europe but also from the USA, the Middle East, South Africa, and other countries worldwide.
Claudia Lukacs from the agency Selected, said that she already heard from her clients how beautiful Montenegro is, also known as a country of good hotels and excellent service.
„We will be happy to include Montenegro in our offer. We are mostly dealing with American conference groups. Our clients see their business trips as an opportunity to travel with their family and visit destinations, make new memories, have some new experience, learn about new cultures, and discover tourist attractions“, said Lukacs.
Katarzyna Dabrowska from the Polish agency InDeams said that Montenegro has a huge potential for groups that enjoy adventure programs, including rafting, canyoning, cycling, and skiing, and besides great offers, it is affordable.

Strategic partner of NTO Montenegro – national airline Air Montenegro participated in Conventa and made the most of this opportunity to promote their flight schedule.
"In addition to the year-round line Podgorica - Ljubljana – Podgorica, operating 3 times a week, during the summer season, flights will also be operated from Tivat. So, from June to September, the two countries will be connected with 6 weekly rotations. In this way, the supply of capacity has been increased multiple times, and thus the conditions have been created for the increase of total movements from both markets, to reply to the demand of both tourist and business travelers.
